Chelsea — OwnerChelsea’s story
“As a parent myself and having attended Messy Monkey Makers under the previous ownership, I know first-hand the joy and wonder that messy play brings to young children.”
I hold a CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education. Alongside owning Messy Monkey Makers, I work at a local nursery as Deputy Manager, SENDCo Lead and Two-Year-Old Lead. These roles strengthen my understanding of how sensory and messy play can support children's confidence, curiosity and development.
Hello, I’m Chelsea. I’m thrilled to own Messy Monkey Makers and provide enriching messy-play experiences for children aged 6 months to 5 years 11 months.
With a background in childcare, I’m passionate about early childhood development and the role sensory play has in creativity, exploration and learning during these formative years.
Having experienced the sessions with my own child, I’m dedicated to creating the nurturing, supportive space I valued as a parent—somewhere little ones can express themselves, develop important skills and make cherished memories.
Beyond the messy-play room, I love spending time with my daughter, family and friends. My passion lies in creating meaningful experiences for young children and the people who care for them.
